But if you have a need for a scan-limited QR code, we have that functionality.

Why would you need to limit the scans of a QR code? For example, a student who needs to conduct a survey for 100 respondents can create a QR code which can only be scanned by 100 people.

Another case is a teacher who needs to track the students’ attendance. Teachers can create a QR code which can only be scanned by the number of students they have.

Creating a scan-limited QR code also works for surveys that only need to be completed by a certain number of people, or when you have an event venue that can only hold a certain amount of attendees.

Whatever reason you have to create a scan-limited QR code, here’s how you can create one here at QRStuff! In this blog post, I show you how to create a scan-limited QR code for a survey needed to be completed by only 100 respondents.

How to Generate a Scan-Limited QR Code

Go to https://www.qrstuff.com/?type=websiteurl and have the “Website URL” data type pre-selected from column 1.

In Column 2, enter the website URL where your survey can be found.
